  2. The last pro-Russian president was overthrown in 2014 though, starting this whole conflict, so you seem quite selective in defending democratically elected leaders. Note that our way of life is destroying our environment and treats the global south as some giant slave plantation but I guess inflation is the worst thing on Earth for us poor, poor Westerners. Y'all didn't care when Iraq invaded Iran for its oil rich Khuzestan province. Actually you did care by selling weapons to both sides and by ignoring Saddam's war crimes and use of chemical weapons against civilians, including the Kurdish Genocide. Iraq wasted billions of dollars in this proxy war but y'all didn't want it to recoup by taking over Kuwait. God forbid a foreign nation does the same thing as the US and steals a country's oil. At least you should have finished the job in 1991 instead of waiting a decade during which Saddam brutally repressed the people involved in the 1991 uprisings. The world and the people of Iraq were on your side then. I guess you wanted to waste even more money in a useless sequel.
