  6. The issue is more about unitary governments and nation-states. Federations should be the norm. Becoming independent would mean that Kurds living outside the political borders of the Kurdish state should have to move in or face persecution and similarly Arabs in this Kurdistan should have to move out. We need to promote and enforce federalism.

  16. True, some of these tensions can remain but they are diluted into a much bigger population which doesn't give a shit about their conflict. But this is another reason we need to push for peace in the Middle East instead of letting the US, Israel and Saudi Arabia do whatever they want.
