Make gardens, not lawns ✌️

@cyclone-g2z Decreasing water levels are not an opinion though.

@NotEnoughHats1800 Enjoy droughts then 🙂

How HOAs force you to grow lawns in the desert? Yeah, sounds ridiculously authoritarian.
7
They already produce oxygen, that's why they're green.

If Americans keep imitating Idiocracy... Lawns in deserts? Seriously? Sounds like that electrolyte bit in the movie.
3
And turfs in deserts waste so much water. Dirt doesn't.
3
Some types of grass do, not turf or lawns.
3
>lives in the desert >complains there's sand Can't make that shit up.
3
There are already solutions like desert gardens and rock gardens that use native plants but you want to over-engineer this 😂🏜️

@NotEnoughHats1800 The whole video is about Nevada, so why are you complaining? You act like it's normal to waste water in a desert during droughts (???) And yeah, it makes no sense for millions of people to live in the freaking desert. But hey, we can't stop Americans and their very sensible urban planning 🙃
2
Golf is such a stupid sport 😑
2
That "dream" is destroying the planet. Want an emerald green lawn? Move north, don't live in the freaking desert.

Then starkly increase the cost of water. Let's see if people keep watering their ueseless lawns. And yeah, celebrities and politicians are hypocrites, doesn't mean we shouldn't take action both against them AND our environmental crisis.

Based Kim.

The biggest "socialists" in the US are the rich (for bank bailouts, corporate welfare, they love society's support huh) so yeah, do tax them at a higher rate.
1
Lawns are for the bourgeoisie. Proles have community gardens.
1
@streamobject0014 Yeah, I've given up on the idea that we will tackle seriously the climate crisis, seeing how Americans are adamant in defending their wasteful, rotten consumerist lifestyle, including lawns in the desert (???). Welcome to the environmental collapse dystopia.

The Southwest has always been a desert, what are you talking about? And the whole world is experiencing water shortages.
1
You're telling me growing turf in the desert isn't stupid AF?

Why build more dams when Lake Mead doesn't fill up anymore?
