 @supernova743 This conflict was created by the British (Balfour declaration) but also by European antisemitism (Zionism started as a response to the Dreyfus affair).

@interrobangings Or you know, you could not support either side because by supporting Israel, you think Arab lives - including those of Palestinian children and LGBT - don't matter. Because Israeli missiles don't magically avoid closeted Palestinians when they strike. By supporting Israel, you support yet another form of oppression and violence for them. Having to face homophobia and apartheid/ethnic cleansing, it's twice as fun, right? I agree that Palestine and the Muslim world have a lot of work to do in order to combat homophobia and regressive values but the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and Western awful interventionism in the region only push them away from anything seen as "Western values".

@georhodiumgeo9827 Children and other civilians are not cancer. Should I remind you how many Americans voted for W. Bush? And unlike Palestine, the US has a longer "democratic" history so what Bush did engages American citizens' responsibility more. If Hamas is a cancer, the US is freaking Ebola for killing a million Iraqis. So do you agree to starve the US? Bomb it to the ground? If not, you're inconsistent.
