How many scholarships are there in total though? Also, isn't the solution to make university free instead of making women (so our sisters and female friends) miserable?
106
@ryanshiflett2178 It also works the other way around. Women become increasingly more liberal as they see conservatives trying to curb down the progress we made...
41
@paulgibbon5991 It sucks even more for most other groups... This should foster solidarity, not victimhood olympics though. Patriarchy does benefit a small group of men the most but unfortunately, it seems like most of us prefer to deny its existence and don't want to fight it and blame everything on feminists who are the first to point out how it's a violent system.
20
Who's harming women AND men though? It's other men.
17
Sit down and listen wasn't created by women. That's how education has been done ever since schools became mandatory. Let's stop blaming women for stuff that men started.
15
@mmm-xc8zk There are things that can't be hidden like violent deaths in relationships. It's in the vast majority men against women, not the other way around. I don't know why people like to pretend that women are somehow just as violent as men when it's clearly not the case. Where are the female gangs roaming the streets? Our society fosters male violence and it needs to change. It's the only way to improve men's condition.

Why should they care about European history? We don't teach much about Asia in the West either.
8
@dragonbeardable Fostering empathy for others is how we get empathy for one another. I definitely feel like we lack that.
6
If you are not sarcastic: thank you.
5
@Klote3241 They still leave the country anyway. We should seize their assets if they do, like we did with Russian oligarchs.
5
@selohcin That's called echo chambers. Your actual life opportunities are more important than what the media says.
5
@yuzokoshiro1313 When the police is going violent, right to privacy does not apply.
5
@beardedgamer9148 Then maybe we should do something about the top 10%? But no, we are also the ones protecting them (cops are mostly men). We are our worst enemies.
4
Not everyone is European, Russian or American 🙄
4
@Neil-Aspinall You have to be dumb if you believe that being a model citizen will save you. They beat up everyone.
4
@arsensoroka6475 Until speaking freely and criticizing your government becomes a crime.
4
@sarahbergmann9897 No, it's not. It's there to make filming the police illegal and show police brutality harder.
4
Big Smoke "i WaS jUsT fOLLoWiNg OrDeRs" isn't a good excuse ever since the Holocaust.
3
@badabing2302 No laws allow policemen to beat up people. In fact, they are breaking several laws by doing so.
3
They always were against the people. The law explicitly says that they are here to defend the state and the government, not the people.
3
We had 2 years of protests in France (gilets jaunes).
3
@ADreamingTraveler But men being conservative (who favor unchecked capitalism) literally goes against that... Why are we so into self-sabotage like this 🤦♂️
3
Because they can and are never punished for it. They are even encouraged by their superiors and by the government.
2
China is the confederacy of our times. Who uses slave labor again? It's not Taiwan. It's the CCP in Xinjiang.
2
@sabin97 Taiwan doensn't use slave labor unlike China. The Confederacy used slave labor too. And by the way, the CCP are the rebels. The KMT was the actual ruler of the Chinese Republic.
2
It has already happened in the US. This bill is our version of the American Patriot Act 2.0. Your policemen are also unaccountable. The NSA can track you without any warrant, read your online conversations, your texts. We live in proto-dystopian societies.
2
@wahidwardak3022 No, they don't. And if you force us, the French people, you know how it ends.
2
"Wrong information" = "any criticism of the government or its militia"
2
You misspelled Winnie the Pooh
2
@samuelculper4231 Pretty sure Germans can protect themselves alone.
2
Because the police is the only thing that keeps Macron in power. If we could, we would have guillotined him way back in 2017.
2
@timewarpdrive77 But it is the norm.
2
Or maybe they should go see a therapist instead of acting like possessive freaks.
2
@azizrosden7450 Well, it's also the French elite in this case. Seeing how they treat us French people in France, it's no wonder they treat people in Africa even worse.
2
@arofhoof Who is responsible for most of society's violence though? We our own enemies... Women had a much higher death rate for most of history due to pregnancies being extremely dangerous and a very common cause of death. This might explain why they were "preserved", because otherwise you don't have a next generation if you send all your women to die in war 😂

Who would be happy to see a thriving democracy fall into the hands of the crazy CCP?
1
We never really had it in France.
1
🤢 Crazy imperialists 🤮
1
I was kind of jealous when you guys striked and protested back in December, I thought we had lost our traditions here in France but I'm so happy to be proved wrong 🇫🇷🇬🇧🚩
1
Let's have one more rogue state on the world stage! YAAAAY!
1
Well said.
1
Not sure. Marine Le Pen voted FOR this law. She doesn't have to pass any law, her police state is ready for her.
1
The German reunification was desired by both sides and it's the Western democracy which took control of the communist dictatorship, not the opposite. East Germany had a referendum about reunification. They voted yes. The Taiwanese don't want to be the CCP's new toy. Is consent and self-determination unknown in China?
1
YEEES, less democracy and freedom, more civil unrest 🍾🍾🍾
1
When did it harm police officers? Just the ones who acted like criminals and even then, they often had no real punishment. This is a clear sign that the government wants to attack freedom of speech.
1
They are going down this road. Macron is scared shitless, his only asset is the police just like Louis XVI. Hope he'll end up like our former king.
1
"I wAnT a nEw ToY tO DeStRoY". Wasn't Hong Kong enough? Wasn't Tibet enough? Wasn't Xinjiang enough? No one trusts you anymore.
1
Want to talk about COVID? Why not talk about who gave it to the world? Communism is definitely not having 100 billionaires in the "People's Congress". It's not putting a million people in camps. It's not suppressing free speech. For all of these reasons, China is not communist but some unhinged nationalist totalitarian regime.
1
@OST1350 Let the virus spread by working in closed rooms.
1
No, it hasn't been a part of China for decades. The political culture and social structure are totally different.
