  11. Eric Blair, aka Orwell, was no leftist but a propagandist who worked for the British empire and snitched on actual communists. Common sense also says that this will lead to an arms race, that focusing on militarism pushes away diplomatic efforts, that it decreases investments on other more important sectors, that it reinforces the military industrial complex which then uses its power to push for more wars to get more billions. Rearmement is stupid. I almost feel like we're back in 2001 with Bush wasting trillions on his useless war on terror while destroying the economy and the world in the process. You literally use the same rhetoric as him (you're with us or against us). This should alarm you.
