It's good that you're questioning yourself about the well-being of your future kids. I would say don't do it even if it's for religious reasons. There are Jewish ceremonies without circumcision. It's called brit shalom. If he wants to do it later, he will have the choice. If you do it without his consent, he could resent you like I resent my parents.

  11. You had a problem that had to be fixed. It's ok. I didn't have any problem but they decided to cut it without my consent as a baby, spent the next weeks crying when I was urinating. And now, the circumcision brought its own problems. You can't compare with men who were cut as infants because you grew up with a foreskin that protected your glans, and in young adults, they usually keep the frenulum. In kids, they just torn everything off.
