If I had to take a guess I would say Putin is selling off Russia's gold reserves and whatnot of assets to China, NK, Iran etc. Also Putin strikes me as a person that has income from foreign FSB operations like drug sales (around the world), human trafficking, blackmailing, hacking and western companies indirectly owned by him. The question is how much dark money is that in total. Something very shady is going on with Kremlin's economy and it must be impossible for this to last for very long. Also noting that Russian soldiers often get their pay either delayed or just partially, even not at all. If have to take a guess on the timeline left for this Putin's war is about 12 months before things starts collapsing on the frontline, but Ukrainians are slowly disabling oil refineries and important fuel storages close to the frontline, so I would not be surprised if Putin mysteriously dies.
