  1. During ww2 our people were slaughtered at Gallipoli in turkey. The Japanese killed, tortured, starved and raped our people. And yet we love the Japanese and the Germans and the Turkish and any other civilised country that has also grown. It’s all possible if people confront themselves and realise the bigger picture. If the Russian people ever take responsibility for their wrong doings, even they can be treated as equals. The measure of a country isn’t just their capability to fight their enemy, but to also move on afterwards and not stay bitter forever. Of course that only happens if your enemy also changes It isn’t a case of forgiveness , nobody ever forgets atrocities. But future generations of your enemies can’t be held responsible for the actions of their ancestors
