  3. On Good Friday in australia fish and chip shops are flat out selling fish. The shop I worked Aton a small peninsula had at least a 3-4 hour wait. The locals knew this and put in orders well before Good Friday so that we could batter enough fish to do the orders. An American couple walked in, straight past the massive line of people paying and picking up their orders and said very loudly. We are American and can’t wait , you need to serve us first. We laughed and laughed and laughed. They were genuinely confused because we didn’t think they were special lol

  4. Most people hang clothes on the line to dry. We have dryers for when it rains but only city or lazy people use the dryer all the time. lol

  5. Remote driving means NO phone service. You can’t just call for help. You have to have enough with you to live for at least 2 weeks and to have told someone where you’re going and when you think you’ll get there

I’m glad to see these big projects getting done, we were lagging behind for a while. I do know that NSW alone needs around 250 new schools built also.
