  1. GRASS FED (OR PASTURE FED) BEEF All Australian cattle spend the majority of their lives in a pasture fed environment. For an animal to be classified as grass fed it means that they have spent their entire life grazing pastures. Grass fed beef is often said to have a complex, robust flavour and yellowish fat colour.

  3.  @helenlecornu1651  yeah, we use the same words as USA in the standards but they just mean totally different things lol thanks god we weren’t brought up eating that pink slime in our meat. The worst the butchers used to do is sprinkle something on the meat to keep it red lol
