  5. Very informative video, very thought-provoking. Battle of Omdurman (1898) : the Mahdi's army were murdered on the battlefield. But General Kitchener also ended slavery in East Africa : how many lives did that save ? The Mahdi was more brutal than the Taliban ; one could then ask, did humanity benefit overall. The USA behaved savagely in the Philippines (1899) exterminating rebel villages (read soldier's letters) ; yet General MacArthur (1945) ordered that the army's supply depots be emptied to feed the Japanese, then established democracy, insisting women be represented in parliament. So was the US influence in the East ultimately beneficial ?

  8. Peace & prosperity mean nothing to Russia, and liberty is unknown. Russia celebrates death & destruction on Victory Day. Russia didn't liberate Europe in 1945, they imposed Stalin's terror on Eastern Europe, and introduced the Gulags, the KGB and Russian fascism.

Surely he's not a real professor He doesn't seem to understand Deepseek Deepseek does not compete with the human mind, it has zero comprehension It makes sense of bags of data and gives sensible answers Eg Watson + Jeopardy Watson had a goal to produce sensible comical answers It spotted two words in the question, looked for synonyms and gave Meringue Herangue as the winning answer Watson had zero comprehension Deepseek has zero comprehension That will require AI 2.0 AI 2.0 will be trainied like an undergraduate in Physics, Chemistry Biology etc AI 2.0 WILL have comprehension (or will act as if it does)
