Labour MPs and ministers lambasted the Conservatives & reform for their attempt to kill the child wellbeing and schools bill by tabling an amendment that would force a block on the bill that implements the existing national and extensive enquiry - simply to delay laws against child abuse ...WHY DO TORIES & REFORM WANT TO DELAY LAYS TO PROTECT CHILDREN???? BORDER staff have nicked nearly 4,000 migrants working ­illegally in the UK in just seven months. More than 5,400 businesses have been raided including nail bars, car washes and takeaways. Many of the 3,930 nabbed were small-boat migrants or had overstayed visas. Often they worked cash in hand and in squalid conditions. The firms hiring them face fines of up to £60,000 per worker — and 1,090 civil penalty notices have been issued since last July. Home secretary Yvette Cooper blasted the rogue bosses and said employers had been able to exploit illegal migrants with impunity for too long.

  3. LABOUR HELPING THE WORKING CLASS: From April 1, more than three million workers will see their wages rocket as the new rates come into force – handing full-time employees an extra £1,400 a year. And a further four million could benefit from knock-on effects. The National Living Wage will jump to £12.21 per hour, while the National Minimum Wage for younger workers (18-20) will soar to £10 an hour – a record rise worth an extra £2,500 a year for full-time employees. The move, part of the Government’s Plan for Change, is designed to put more cash in the pockets of hardworking Brits and boost economic growth.
