  1. Ones that come to my back porch love sweets my mom throws out. Coconut cream pie is there all time favorite. Only wild animal I have seen with such a sweet tooth.

  9. My mom had a large Applehead chihuahua. She thought she was the boss over everyone, the dog I mean. She would always get the front seat in the car and the a/c blowing on her face. She would scruff up her neck fur and snarl at strange sounds. And of course would be instantly ashamed when we would chuckle at her for it. She even used to try and boss me around when no one else was home. Like she would ask for an extra milkbone but I would say no you already had one. So she would stomp her foot and whine like "just get me one! Mom's not going to know, just do it!".

  12. My grandma's bird would bite us and hiss at us when we changed his papers, water and such. He enjoyed company but hated hands in his personal space. We couldn't let him out because we couldn't even clip his wings let alone ever pet him. We did take his cage out on the porch and take him inside in the evening. family visiting would talk to him, whistle with him, and carefully put treats in his cage. Sometimes animals are just, well animals and don't want a close connection with people. I've seen cats the same way you would think were abused everyday but were actually well cared for.

  13. Her message was hypocritical. They obviously do not leave you alone, they seek people to feed them. Pick one lady! I'm just sick of people blaming people about habitat when a gator is in the middle of suburbs killing pets and children. They got there for a reason, and it wasn't because of the habitat they were never raised in.
