Not to mention it was reported that neighbors noticed a smell coming from the house. Their case didn't have a single leg to stand on. It must be real awkward to be an attorney and have to defend anyone because it's their right to be represented in court.

@Mooloch They showed the house and neighborhood in the beginning news report. The parents also went on vacation when she died. You are deeply deeply disturbed for having any amount of pity on the parents. As I've mentioned, there are affordable ways to care for someone. They made zero attempts as there were no medical records at all...

@Mooloch They were rich people in a nice home. They could have afforded many options. Even a fricken hospital bed and nurses coming by for basic care a couple times a week. Do not give them an inch of leeway here...Their daughter was smart, went to a good college, was going to make them proud with a wonderful career. But then she didn't, something happened to her brain, and they didn't love her anymore.

I've heard from an ex-con that elderly inmates are cared for by inmates on "good behavior" doing work for lighter sentences. So it begs the question, will they be neglected too. Just something interesting to think about.
