  2. I know an anesthesiologist, and he's not only a surgical doctor, but also manages some of the lower staff. I think it's probably apart of their job to oversee what's going on with procedure. Not to correct or disagree, I just think it's great there are people paying attention to every detail when it comes to surgeries.

  5. I believe surgeons are only assigned patients a week or so out because of doing several a day. It's not a primary care doctor with lifelong patients. They would have halted his scheduling immediately pending the investigation.

  6.  @MamaTriedSolo  From what he told me, it would be breaking HIPPA if he showed the image, or gave out the boy's name publicly. He didn't take the photo for amusement or anything. Why belly ache about nudity when it's a photo of an open mouth....???

  8.  @1N2themystic  ok, lets say that can effect someone so much that it puts a risk on their health during anesthesia, the topic at hand. This would be apart of the, "did you have any blood thinners in your system", "what medications are you on" questions. If the patient answers truthfully, nothing goes wrong. The OP won't answer as to why their relative was in fact on blood thinners, but failed to mention that or write that in on the form. Sorry, I call BS for this one...

  11.  @MamaTriedSolo  Yes, you absolutely do. It's your fault if you don't listen to the doctors they tell you, you are seeing...My bf is one and he speaks to the patients ahead of time. He recently showed me pictures. he spoke to a teen boy that impaled a toothbrush into the back of his throat. He spoke to the parents and the boy before the procedure to get it out.

  12.  @MamaTriedSolo  I'm starting to think you have never gone under anesthesia in your lifetime. He as an ER doctor has his cases made hours/days ahead of time. A normal non emergency would be weeks out. All doctors are publicly listed on hospital websites even with contact info for each...If you really had a concern, you would go right now and look it all up on your local hospital website.............
