That's because it's not true, Hunter-Gather lifestyles are actually much less labour intensive than agricultural ones. He got that completely wrong.

Exactly, this has been well documented now. Frankly, that was a lazy presumption. Yet whilst it was easier, it was also more precarious, which is probably one reason agriculture became more popular, despite its heavy workload.

So there is a lot of evidence now that counters the presumption made in this video that we had to 'work all day, every day' for food prior to agriculture. In fact it was the opposite, it was much less work. The problem was that it was an unreliable. The advantage of agriculture was not in making life easier, but it could fed more people and was more reliable, as there were ways to compensate for natural variances.
