  1. Reminded me of that story of the Bemba people putting someone who's done a boo in a circle and listing all that's good about them. Story seems to be apocryphal, but it'd be interesting to see the idea in practice. Would only work in societies in which people have a sense of belonging to their community, so that rules out most of the individualised west.
