ffs, Channel 4... saying something like 'No violence on this occasion' plays right into the BS that protestors are violent. It is NEVER the protestors... it's the police. How many times does this need to be proven and pointed out before the mainstream media start reporting the truth?

@jerry171460 If they are carrying weapons, they need to because they need to protect themselves from the documented violence of the cops and the gangs the Chinese govn is sending out to attack the protestors... Which only proves the violence they are facing..

@Konservative_Ken928 Sometimes it isn't, but in the case of Hong Kong, it really isn't... the organisers are going to great lengths to make sure EVERYONE stays non-violent. Many of the main groups are christian peace organisations, ffs.
