  1. Good twist ending there. But the reasons for Brexit are about more than trade and control. Some Brits like being part of something larger and are internationalist, some Brits hate it and want to shut up the borders. It's a cultural war between those two factions. [This is why it relates to what is happening in the US right now.]

  2. The left exit view is a false narrative, the austerity/neo-lib agenda has been driven by the UK govn, inc inside the EU. The financiers are concerned about tax changes [esp non dom exc] and the chance to financially benefit from the chaos it will cause the pound.
