For me, his greatest insight, and most important was on the absurdity of land ownership, when he said, “The first man who, having enclosed a piece of ground, bethought to himself, saying, ‘This is mine’, and found people simple enough to believe him, was the real founder of civil society.   6. Very good. The enclosure/colonialism that created modern Capitalism has disconnected us from nature and its limitations. This is at the core of why we are living beyond the planet's ability to provide, we are too disconnected. I have come to the opinion that living in urban settings has been a huge human mistake. I was a teacher, and one time will my students were sitting an exam, I noticed that many of them were furiously jiggling their legs up and down. I realised that they were actually simulating walking and I had the thought that this was maybe biological, that our brains are 'turned on' by the act of walking. Was that Dartmoor?

When private interests start relying on state funding for growth, as is happening with neo-liberalism and the (largely hidden) privatisation of state-run essential services, then capitalism starts eating itself. (The State balances the Private - if one is in debt then the other has funds.) At this point, the only way to fix this is a reset. Facism (state-private merger) will work momentarily, but it doesn't last. They fix it by having another massive war, (itself providing activity), destroying everything so that it has to once again be rebuilt. The Captains of Capitalism don't care what we do, just as long as we are busy doing it so they can cream off the wealth we generate. (Contrary to popular thought, they do not create wealth, the worker does.)

The pretzels you guys twist yourselves into just to pretend there's some semi-tangible world between the real and the imaginary, all so as to retro-actively justify something humans made up centuries ago to explain the parts of the universe that didn't make any sense to them at the time. And in a desperate attempt to make your imaginings sound rational, you have the temerity to use scientific jargon.
