I would personally like to live in a Commoning economy. I think even essential services can be run this way; everyone would pay upfront for the needs of the service [with an independent oversight body]. Modern financial technology, such as direct payments, make this possible. [A societally balanced full UBI would be part of that] We can move beyond both the state and the market. But of course, the capitalists and the people who enjoy the power that representative democracy brings will resist this every step of the way.

@geoffpriestley7001 It's not socialism, as that is still the State. It's kinda Communism 202. In truth, I know most people wouldn't want it. It's just what I know I would prefer. Either way, better than being run by corporate elites, which is unsustainable. But it matters what replaces it, and that requires, I think, directional force constantly applied.
