  1. The state-ordained thugs are there for one reason only... to maintain an authoritarian society. It's the same the world over. I've experienced police abuse in Aust, the US, the UK, and Japan... they're all the same. They are endlessly mythologised in film as the establishment desperately try to salvage their image.
