Why was the victim crossing Lakeshore Drive at a point where there are no crosswalks, nor stoplights ? And if you have the license plate, you already have their address. Go and wait at their house. Or did you want the citizens to take care of this through vigilanteism ?

@nicolefrontin2329 , not sure who you are adressing...however, why do people leave the scene of ANY crime, whether it is and assault, a theft, a robbery, an unaliving, a crash, vandalism, etc. Hell, people walk away from cheating on a test, or lying. Could it be embarrassment ? Fear of repercussions (which is more and more, not even a concern of getting caught, nor held accountable, any more, especially in Liberal and Democratically-run areas) ? Shame ? Regret ? Love of the "adrenaline rush" of getting away with something ? Ask yourself why it is now okay to run away from your responsibilities.... From accountability. From fatherhood. From motherhood. From your family. From something you disagree with. From something you dislike, or hate. Let us know.

@nicolefrontin2329 , it's funny that you place no blame on the individual that decided to cross Lakeshore Drive, when they could have crossed safely at the street prior to or the street after the place they made the personal choice to cross a multilane highway at. It's like deciding to swim across a piranha and crocodile river, instead of crossing at a bridge. Would you wonder why that person was eaten alive ? Or would you blame the piranhas and crocodiles ?
