  3. I like Brand because he isn’t brainy. Nothing wrong with brainy, but Brand is thoughtful, open-minded, passionate, humorous, kind, engaged, brave, and honest. He does his homework, but he doesn’t pretend to be a big-brain

  5. 2:30 Nonsense about Brand’s accent making him seem intellectual. If anything, Brand tries to sound more lower class than he actually is, dropping his tees and gees, to sound more of the people. Saying that’s a pseudo-intellectual put-on is like saying Ali G sounds like an Oxford professor
