  1. Well in this case i think it perfectly acceptable for Trump to treat his political opponents the same way they treated him. Its no good doing the "honorable thing", or rising above it. They SHOULD be punished. They're wording it as though he would be persecuting political opponents (which is PRECISELY what they are doing to him themselves), but their corruption is clear, and using existing laws as they are intended should be enough to prosecute them. Im no legal expert but i would hope there are laws against what they have done. But if it requires stooping to their level and fighting fire with fire, so be it. Make an example of them, to show what can happen when laws are played around with. Let this be a lesson for future corrupt politicians
