  4. "Clearly our ancestors in America had a fked up time". Dude,, your ancestors in Africa had a fked up time too. When they weren't killing each other (some things never change) they were capturing, enslaving and selling each other. And guess what, the majority of the people who ever lived had a fked up time too. Wherever they happened to be born. Whatever their race or colour. Historical struggles are not exclusive to you and yours. All peoples have been enslaved at some time or other. Until 5 minutes ago, relatively speaking, life was a dangerous disease ridden mess of poverty, hunger, wars and early death. Probably Less than one percent of people who ever lived had a life of luxury! Untiil present era. The way i look at it, we all now benefit from whatever happened historically, because we don't have to live through terrible things our ancestors did. We ALL benefit, and we should all be grateful for that. Stop fking whining about stuff that didn't happen to you. Stop making ridiculous leaps of logic to insist it still affects you, and you deserve money from people who did nothing, for the struggles that other people endured. Its pretty gross. Not all white people were rich slave owners and not all black people were slaves.

Instead of drawing the ire of innocent white people, by being a racist and lumping all white together as if they are all responsible. If you have a good case then try that. But then what? It sets a precedent for anyone who feels their ancestors were wronged, to claim reparations from innocent people who happen to be descendants. It'll go round and round forever. Africans did bad by starting the slave trade. Europeans did bad by buying those slaves. Then Europeans ended it. Which is a good thing. Africa still indulges. How come Europeans get credited for the bad thing, but not the good thing they did to remedy the bad thing? It was far more recent. America as a whole, has benefited from the injustices of the past. That includes black people. Or you just gonna sit up there on your high horse pretending that ain't so?! Its easy to lay blame on others while you lie to yourself and them, that you don't enjoy every single benefit that they do
