They refuse to acknowledge their policies are wildly unpopular, because they have no intention of changing them. They have been chosen regardless of what people actually want, and their goal is to make the gullible among us believe those chosen agendas are what they want. This is why they are blaming everyone and everything but their own policies. They intend to keep them so they cannot criticize them. So they're resorting to the old fear mongering strategy, and manufactured outrage about things we all WANTED to happen! Which is even more preposterous today than it was a decade ago. And their biggest ally WAS media which despite still being loyal to the party, is circling the drain and lost all credibility. Its game over for the Democrat party as it is today
