The issue I have, besides the fact that people should just toughen up- they're words and you shouldn't really have a guarantee that they wont offend you sometimes, is that there seems to be a fundamental misunderstanding. The most hatred and disparaging sentiments, are clearly aimed at straight white men. Yet, that is the only demographic not specifically protected. The anti white rhetoric is in full swing, but it is obviously being ignored. There is plenty of race and sex based hatred towards white men, but there's nothing specific to stop that. I am willing to bet any complaints wouldn't be taken seriously anyway. But it seems like "all these people here.... nothing can be said about them. White straight males are fair game and they get no protection. Even though there is more hateful crap said about them than anyone else" Now, I don't care about words, but I don't like the inequality of what is happening when "stirring up hate" seems to be cool and acceptable against white people especially men. Its rife online
