  1. They rarely flourish anywhere, but they actually do better in the western countries they seem to love to hate. Especially in sports in America and the UK. I doubt a bit of sun or lack of it, will change that reality much. We need to stop making excuses and convoluted explanations regarding historical injustices, and whatever else can be used to avoid accountability.

  2. There are plenty of intelligent people from all races. I think rather than genetics or the invisible racism claimed, the main factor is cultural. The American gang culture has been glorified and imitated by our own homegrown idiots. Who happen to be largely blacks imitating blacks. Just "axe" them! This country is a nightmare for copying stupid ideas from America, so it's not just black kids guilty of that. But it is undeniable that the "gangsta" life is romanticized by the youth here. The culture of being a bad ass, hating cops, selling drugs and wanting that high life of respect and easy money is rife. As is blaming racism when they get caught and need a sob story. It all needs to end and "community leaders" should be leading the charge. Instead of using mental gymnastics to blame others
