  2. Nobody thinks Canada is ‘just Alberta’, and you’re nuts if you think Albertan’s should let the feds exercise such influence over their livelihoods. If you don’t want AB industry in Canada, then its time to talk AB leaving Canada, as opposed to expecting AB to change to suit you.

  4. Most of us have our income taxes taken from us. They do it this way because they know ppl would think harder about what they are getting out if it if they were required to manually send that money off to the gov themselves. Nobody is paying them to ‘support the country’. They pay them because they are forced to pay them.

  10.  @V_for_Vovin  For me its more about having a nation vs being a serial number in an economic zone. Our own PM called us a “post-national state”. I want nothing to do w that.
