@UkrainianPunk180 So? If that was why we were there, we wouldn’t have stayed another 10 years after his death only to retreat, and fail horribly in the process.

@UkrainianPunk180 Well, we ran away, and they are still in power. The only other explanation, apart from being defeated by a ppl known for repelling empires, is that we weren’t actually there for the reasons we claimed to be there for. On one hand we are no better than Russia, and on the other hand we are no better than Russia.

@UkrainianPunk180 We withdrew in embarrassing fashion, and the enemy remains in power, and empowered by the billions of $ in weapons, equipment, and valuables left behind. We either lost to a ppl known for repelling empires, or we weren’t actually there for the reason(s) we claimed to be there for. Incompetent and/or terminally corrupt. Sounds familiar.

@UkrainianPunk180 Inadequacy is inadequacy. Rationalize it however you want; the coalition lost, and a bunch of dirt farmers won, and they weren’t openly and continuously enjoying billions of $ in funding, equipment, and training from advanced military powers.
