Not really. What are you supposed to do? We trust our government(s) and charities to allocate resources to prevent this sort of thing, yet, for some reason, it never seems to make a difference. This is on governments and NGOs. The governments are typically either using necessities against their ppl or leveraging the suffering of their ppl against conflicting interests, and the NGOs are too busy lining their own pockets and pushing their own agendas rather than helping. As an individual your just somebody getting by like everybody else.

Darlene Sjostrom I don’t. Note I said ‘we’ as in, in general, we trust/rely on governments and NGOs to take care of these sorts of issues because there is very very little the avg individual can do. Did you read the rest of the comment I’m which I make it pretty clear that I don’t trust either of these entities to accomplish much of anything?

Daniel Kamali I’m sure it’s ‘so that the population doesn’t tank’. I’m sure when they pump out kids they are doing so for the good of the collective.

Daniel Kamali Okay, but that doesn’t explain the motivation at the micro level. Everybody is aware of the macro correlation.

꧁Ɱ͓̽ç͓̽Ͳ͓̽Ƒ͓̽ɾ͓̽օ͓̽ʂ͓̽է͓̽꧂ I have a relative who has 3 different kids w three different guys. Not currently married. The government paid for her to go to school to become a nurse while simultaneously providing funding for each kid. She was rewarded for being irresponsible, meanwhile I’m stuck w student loans lol. Talk about a government that doesn’t understand incentives.

Daniel Kamali Well idk anything about the specific culture admittedly, so I guess I’ll just take your word for it that they are one and the same. Fair enough Daniel.
