  3. Wrong to expect that they achieve proficiency in written and spoken English and/or French. Totally okay to expect that we learn to pronounce their words properly. Also, does anybody from here EVER get mad when somebody who struggles with English fails to pronounce their name correctly? Nobody cares except the newcomers. They care about their name being pronounced improperly. The rest of us care that a job was just botched and cost the shop $thousands because somebody can’t communicate properly.
