@stevebottrell9154 Yes, I would cry so much if government wasn’t there to cut cheques so that my friend’s band could produce an indie rock album… Show me a government that understands the concept of investment, and a tax base to match, and I’ll show you a guy who is open to the idea of state programs like this one. Until then, keep crying.

@sadee1287 Why would I hand over something I’m forced to pay for? And I don’t have kids, so I’m paying in full while those w kids get tax breaks. I subsidize the educations, and everything else, of those with kids, so that they can afford their kids. You’re welcome! 🤡

@sadee1287 My response was deleted, so I’ll rephrase it. It is asinine to expect somebody to give up access to a service they are forced to pay into. I don’t need to agree w libertarians about roads to see how silly it is to suggest that they should forego the use of the roads that are paid for w the fuel taxes attached to their fuel purchases. I also have no children, nor do I plan to have any, so I’ll always be subsidizing the child tax credits (and more) of others so that they can afford to have them. You’re welcome.
