Does ‘new normal’ sound temporary to you? What happened to two weeks? Are you also going to completely avoid the multitudes of people who’s livelihoods rely on people being able to gather? Some people want to party, sure, and others want to afford food and shelter for themselves and their families. Many just want the dignity of work back. It’s pretty easy to look down on everybody else when the ‘lockdowns’ don’t negatively impact your own pocketbook, and that’s every single politician and expert imposing these measures on the millions of ppl who actually have to carry the burden for everybody else. Laughably, we then turn and applaud our nurses like heroes for simply doing their jobs, as if they are the ones making the sacrifice... if we keep doing what we are doing we may very well see our health care system overrun anyway since we won’t be able to afford a health care system that can accommodate even post pandemic levels of demand.
