@_.YouTubeBad_. You just described every political party that isn’t in power, and especially opposition parties. You also just described somebody feigning populist, whilst not being populist. It is no different than lefties pretending to be super socialist despite living and embracing a privileged existence, and doing everything they can to rise within a hierarchy that, supposedly, shouldn’t even exist. This is hardly a critique of the notion of focusing on the commoner, or the bulk of society, over the influential and monied outliers. And everybody thinks the party they don’t like is just enriching themselves by playing on emotions like fear. They all do what you describe. You just can’t see beyond your own ideological blinders.

@jeannettelandry2212 When ppl talk about how bad things were under Harper, I just don’t know what they are referring to, and I was relatively poor during the Harper years. Now I’m not relatively poor, but it feels like I am, and the ‘leader’ of the country is a guy who enthusiastically declared our nation to be dead, and that we are the first ‘post national state’.
