@mathias8627 The OP whom you said is so smart said it. And it is less about ‘capitalism’, and more about power. Communist nations love growth as well, do they not? They are always so determined to show off their growth, because to power, growth means more power, and essentially the same incentives exist for the powerful under either system. Also, the nominal demand side ‘growth’ being foisted upon us currently is largely being administered by left leaning central planner wannabe governments. Nowhere in free market theory does it recommend chucking labour at everything in order to grow. Diminishing returns is one of the most important concepts in conventional economic/free market theory.

@O-smoka Tell me about it. I was framing in Calgary for near min wage a couple years ago. Everybody was around or at min wage but the crew leads. But they tell is there is a labour shortage…
