@toedrag-release So? Ppl carry knives. He wasn’t moving toward them. His hands were at his sides. There were no signs of aggression at all. And yes, you do give ‘them’ (as in us) a chance at whatever distance. They are there for us. Not the other way around. Our safety is priority. Not their’s.

I don’t see an altercation. I see cops getting spooked and unloading on a guy casually strolling through a hall. Yea, he had a knife, but he showed no signs of aggression. Maybe there was something lost in the lack of audio?

@toedrag-release Yea. Its weird. Cops deal w weird situations, and they are supposed to deal w it better. Their job is to not panic and unload on civilians who are showing no signs of aggression. I’ve watched it over and over. There first cop even takes the time to step back and create some space and ket the guy relax his arms before he opens up. Could shotgun guy even see the knife from that angle? Come on…

@toedrag-release What I would or wouldn’t do doesn’t matter. I’m not the one being paid to handle myself like a pro in these situations. It isn’t my job. It is their’s. I’d be willing to bet I’d be put away in the same situation, even if he was in my house w a knife and a camera caught it. They’d say he wasn’t moving towards me and was showing no signs of aggression. We aren’t even allowed to carry. The ppl who are should at least have some nerves, don’t ya think?

@toedrag-release “They” don’t need to be to impose a double standard, do “they”? What does it matter if “they” haven’t had a gun pointed at “them”? Again, “they” aren’t the ones w a badge and a gun, just like I’m not the one paid to carry a badge and a gun with the expectation that I can and will handle them responsibly and professionally. Look, I know food prices are rather high right now, but there is no nutritional value in boot leather. Expect more from your authorities. Hold them, at the very least, to the same standards they would hold you. Assuming you want legitimate authority.
