  1. Everybody knows full well that all of this nonsense originated in the states. It isn’t Canada leading the US (and UK, and Australia, etc) into this craziness. The US is the exporter of culture here, and not Canada. Nice try.

  2. They are, actually. What you consider hateful, I may not. The inverse may be true as well. It is largely subjective, and the double standards make it hard to believe the ‘no hate’ crowd is operating in good faith.

  4.  @derekeliopoulos2670  It doesn’t seem to me that this is a matter of developing/engineering the platforms better. Just here on YT, anybody can see that whatever process they are using to curate comments, be it manually or via an algo, is not applied fairly or in good faith. Developers can worry and try all they want, but it won’t matter if those above them dash their attempts at doing things properly.
