@irakristanti8547 Once talked to an Egyptian man who absolutely hated Canada. Said he wanted to go home, but wouldn’t because his kids have public health care and education here. They don’t want to be Canadian. They aren’t Canadian. They are just economic migrants.

@missf4681 Part of being a refugee is seeking refuge from an untenable situation in a horrible place. If you can go back for holidays, then you aren’t a refugee, and you should stay there.

@missf4681 The whole idea behind seeking refuge or asylum in another country is that the country you are fleeing is too dangerous to be in. If you can essentially holiday there, then you should stay there, because your asylum claim is clearly illegitimate.

@jimmyboy2165 No. Real Canadians don’t necessarily ‘love the Jewish ppl”. Most don’t care much about Jews or Palestinians or Syrians or Ukrainians because, as real Canadians, they prioritize Canada and Canadians.
