@christinesmith1499 I’m working class as well, but I understand economics, so I disagree. Why exactly do you feel entitled to the wealth of others, and why call for wealth redistribution instead of simply asking the gov to stop importing competition for you? You’re being squeezed on both the wage/income and price/demand sides by the same gov policy and actions, and instead of focusing on this you blame ppl more successful than you?

@mikearchibald744 Oil and lumber mills… Two of the few sectors still paying well and offering solid benefits and pensions. Yea… let’s punish those guys… Again, maybe start w addressing bad policy before robbing successful ppl and businesses.

@mikearchibald744 Corporations make lots of money. Not really a hot take, nor is it the reason Canadians can’t get onto the housing ladder.

@mikearchibald744 And if you don’r think mills and O&G pay enough for access to resource rights, then you should be calling for changes to royalty regimes and not changes to corporate taxes. Royalties are how they compensate us for access to OUR resources.

@mikearchibald744 And who tf cares if it is “cliche” to point out the sense of entitlement to the wealth of others that so many have? You aren’t the good guy if you think ‘because they have more’ is just cause for getting the biggest gang around to shake them down for you. Give your head a shake.
