  1.  @hdthor  Foreign students aren’t some giant boon for the economy. They certainly don’t make accessing education easier for prospective Canadian students, and they aren’t making housing any cheaper for anybody. As for the Visas, perhaps its time industry was incentivized to compete and train, instead of simply importing human capital when it suits them. Typically, if somebody says something will ‘benefit the economy’, they are referring to some demand side nominal growth for which the average person eats the costs, but receives none of the benefits.

  3.  @sanaira190  Lol. At the cost of seats and housing for domestic/local students. Its a boon for administrators in top heavy, inefficient, modern post secondary ‘education’ institutions, sure; whilst everybody else eats the costs. Nice try.
