So nothing is going to change. Everybody would rather just sling partisan s, and that is exactly how those in power want it.

@M_SC My dual citizen buddy visited from the UK over Christmas. One of the first things he and his gf (Canadian who moved out there w him) remarked on shortly after arriving was how much worse our food prices are. He is also trying to get me to move there because the job prospects are so much better.

@bmir89 I didn’t make the initial comparison. Somebody else pointed out that prices have increased in the UK and US as well, and I merely pointed out that, according to two friends who travel between the UK and Canada frequently, Canada’s price spike has been far worse.

@SoonGone So is Canada. If you’re going to struggle, why do so in a frozen nationless wasteland?
