  1. Sydney Holmes I haven’t stated anything that would need to be cited. How many ppl do u know who went to the hospital w the flu? We don’t really track those numbers the way we do Covid. That isn’t the product of a study. It’s the product of not being born yesterday. Ppl typically get the flu, recover, and return to their lives. With Covid, tracking has been made an imperative, and thus data accumulates.

  2. Sydney Holmes They weren’t citing the number of cases. They were referring to its severity. Whether their comparison is accurate or not idk. We also don’t obsessively track regular flu numbers. How often have ppl gone to be counted when they contracted flus in the past? Most just rode it out at home. We most certainly weren’t counting the asymptomatic like we are w Covid. Comparing simple case numbers seems meaningless.

  3. Everything has a trade off, and doctors/experts have dropped the ball constantly throughout this fiasco. Decision makers are being forced to roll the dice either way.
