@jonesjay515 Cool. I didn’t say it did. Going for somebody’s gun though; that is a different story.

I went jogging yesterday and it went alright. I find that I typically don’t get chased or shot at if I avoid jogging through other people’s properties.

@kimberlynroberts7059 Doesn’t matter. They witnessed trespassing and suspected theft (they thought he was the one responsible for a string of thefts on the area, or at least that was the story before). Anyway, if you want to play the ‘who started it’ game, then technically he started it when he went trespassing. Should they have chased him w guns? No. Should he have gone for the gun? No. Seems like the result of everybody being stupid to me.

@kimberlynroberts7059 You just keep ignoring the part where he was most likely there stealing materials/tools from the site… You can assume no crime was committed, or that there was no intent, but in the end he would be alive today were he not trespassing in the first place. Don’t wander into other people’s homes. It’s pretty simple. Stop pretending he didn’t bring due scrutiny upon himself. Regardless of whether the idiots who chased him down handled it well (they didn’t), the kid was up to no good and it got him in trouble.

@kimberlynroberts7059 Like I said, I was going off of old info (from 2 years ago). Still hardly matters. They knew he wasn’t supposed to be there. They went after him suspecting theft. He was stupid. Then they were stupid. Then he was stupid again. Then he was dead. It’s sad, but I see no ‘bad’ guy here.

@kimberlynroberts7059 How did they chase him if they didn’t see him there. We all saw him there on camera, so was it just a coincidence that they assumed AND he happened to have been trespassing? No crime no pursuit? Since when? Tell that to the cops… I agree that they prob didn’t need to pursue, but he is in video on the property clearly not out for a jog. Trespassing is a crime. Serious enough to warrant going after him as they did? No. I agree. But had he not been looking to steal from ppl, or at the very least entering a residence where he wasn’t welcome, then no pursuit would have occurred. Had he not stupidly gone for the stupidly wielded gun, he’d almost certainly be alive.
