Keep the gov out of housing. Deal w the underlying problem, which is rampant migration to Canada and foreign ownership. Instead they are talking about clamping down on mom and pop investors who are trying to put something away for retirement through real estate.

@kengolder1615 Idk. I’m in Ab. Nobody here minds ppl from BC. We get more and more by the day. I was in Kelowna for some work after Covid derailed life. I was sleeping in my vehicle for a night cuz my place wasn’t available till the next day, and somebody tried to break in. I stepped out and, after pretending they were just wiping dust off the door, they pointed to my AB plate and told me to watch out around there. Friendly place…

Its hilarious listening to these ppl claim to care about driving away investment. Even so, nobody wants to live in the post national economic zone that these creatures want to build around us. If driving away investment and going poor is what is needed to avoid their brave new world, then so be it.

You sure about that? How do you think they’ll fare in the house up against what will essentially be a 3 to 4 party coalition opposition. They could take 50% of the vote and they’ll still struggle to accomplish anything in the house.

@ScottGostick I don’t see it happening. Ppl are too ideologically dug in. I don’t know if you have spent much time in major cities, but I don’t see them turning. Hopefully I’m wrong and you’re right tho.
