You might support it, but jumping for joy and shedding tears of happiness over this is not a healthy reaction to being given permission to potentially take a life in the name of convenience... What would these emotionally incontinent ppl say if a woman lost a wanted fetus to a violent assault? Is it still just an assault charge cuz all that was damaged was a lump of cells?

@JuanDPeron-mz8eg Oh so it’s free too!! My body! My choice! Society can pick up the tab! If you demand the power to choose, you are also stuck w the responsibility for those decisions. The ‘ownership’ argument matters not if you won’t take ownership for your actions/decisions.

They aren’t babies to them. Unless they want it though, then we are all supposed to change our tune cuz she’s eating for two... Even if somebody supports abortion, shedding tears of joy and acting like you were just rescued from certain death is just weird... These people are unhinged, and they control the institutions we trust w raising our kids. The same ppl who hate abortion will send their kids to schools to be taught to love abortion lol. We asked for this.

If you don’t want a baby, don’t conceive one. Be an adult, be responsible, and be accountable. If I lack the body parts it matters not, for as of this moment I identify as somebody who does have said body parts, and who are you to question that?

@JuanDPeron-mz8eg And it’s ‘got everything to do’. You can’t have it both ways. If abortion is legal then you have de-facto ruled that the aborted didn’t constitute human life. You can’t, while remaining logically consistent, then turn around and accuse somebody of murder or manslaughter or anything meaningful should their actions result in the termination of a pregnancy (within the legal window of time for an abortion). What claim can women still legitimately make to any support from the father when the father played no part in the creation of a child. Remember, he only created a ‘lump of cells’, and it is the mother who makes the ‘choice’ to turn that ‘lump of cells’ into a human being. Her body her choice. Her choice her responsibility. 100% of the power comes with 100% of the responsibility. You/they can’t have it both ways.

@blt4life112 What is superstitious about the belief that a fetus constitutes human life? Nothing religious or superstitious about it.

@stevecarter2463 Many Steve! They said many, so it’s many! Get in line Steve! I’m tired of you peasants having unauthorized thoughts.

@davidparker7216 It takes time to convince a population that responsibility and accountability are bad things.

Justin Troudcul “Try logic” Present some. “Your mom sentenced you to experience death when she gave birth to you”. Gave birth, or conceived? How do you determine which stage in the lifecycle is the relevant one. If they can be offed cuz their mom already ‘sentenced them to death’ anyway, why then are murder charges a thing? Try logic Justin. Try logic.

Justin Troudcul Brilliant and profound arguments from Justin ‘Logic Wizard’ Troudcul.

@sarasjv44 It was sarcasm.

@blt4life112 No. I don’t cry about it. I don’t cry or get emotional about this debate one way or the other. Fact is you don’t need god in the convo to see the inconsistencies and double standards inherent in the conversation, nor do you need religion to end up on either side of the fundamental disagreement over what constitutes human life. Everybody just likes to start from their own arbitrary definition, and then throw their hands up in frustration when the discussion goes nowhere.

@JuanDPeron-mz8eg Okay. No more child support then. Her body, her choice, her responsibility. Welcome to ‘empowerment’. It has a flip side.

Finally. A supporter who can admit that the reaction is unwarranted and kinda unhinged. I bet you’re actually capable of discussing the matter and disagreeing w/o having a hissy fit too.
2
@CanadianSoldier Bible arguments don’t work and are probably counterproductive to your cause.
2
@sarasjv44 Damn! Well played.
2
These points are only legitimate if you assume the fetus is not a living human. You’re skipping past the fundamental argument.

@peachesnmoonbeams5380 One of the only civil exchanges I’ve had on the subject :)

@lesabri The potential for murder doesn’t disappear because you kill somebody in an operating room w med spec tools and fancy dr...

@deepthoughts8393 But that means exercising restraint, and we raised these last two generations to do the opposite and cave to their impulses. Lol at ppl who are shocked at the results of putting ppl through at least 12 years of ‘progressive’ indoctrination at day cares and public ‘schools’. Now they want to double down, and ppl will be all for it because they had kids despite having no business being parents...

Justin Troudcul I did though. Scroll up. Need help sounding out the words?

Jimmy Ray Unfortunately, despite your emotional claims to the contrary, there is a conversation and there is a debate, and you are losing. Right or wrong, that is the reality.
1
Jimmy Ray Ppl are debating it right before your eyes. You aren’t going to get ahead of the situation if you remain willfully blind to it...
1
Jimmy Ray I don’t disagree really, but it’s informing policy and legislation, so...

@davidparker7216 The baby will never get to

@ezed8748 Which strange things?
1
@sarasjv44 Those are the exception to the rule! Also, what about babies resulting from non consensual relations (last comment deleted so i’ll try softer wording)? Gotcha!

@peachesnmoonbeams5380 You are right. It isn’t that simple at all, and in the event that it’s a life or death decision then I too would side w the mother should she wish to prioritize her own life. However, is it unreasonable to assume that most abortions aren’t inspired by life or death stakes?
