  2. Did he cry out that he was doing it in the name of his god and faith? You can see how such actions might paint a person’s perception of how threatening a belief system might be. If somebody is en engineer, and they do something terrible w no reference to engineering, would you implicate engineering in the deed? It changes things when they overtly and repeatedly cite their god/faith as an inspiration for their deeds, no?
