It was a bit late for defence. Are you defending yourself if you get sucker punched, and then attempt to sucker punch the guy back an hour later? Retaliation is not always defence.

@rubychxrry Not really criticizing anything save for the notion that Iran’s response was defensive. I don’t blame Iran, and I couldn’t care less if the whole region was glassed at this point. Not our problem.
